Immersion Media serves a diverse group of clients, all with diverse needs. We have expertise in Flash, PHP, .NET and Open Source applications, which allows us to build websites that suit our clients best, not pigeon-hole them with a technology bias. Using our depth of marketing expertise, we build websites that identify with targeted users, and position our clients appropriately in their industry.


Working with TransWorld - a leader in action sports media - Immersion Media was an integral part in developing TransWorld's online strategy and was responsible for creating and developing seven unique websites in six months. That's one each for their Skateboarding, Surfing, Snowboarding, Motocross, BMX, Quad, and trade magazines offerings.

The TransWorld sites are built in Wordpress, enabling editors to create a unique design for each sports-themed site, yet easily share content between the sites, and easily manage each site from a central location.

Partnering with Competitor, Immersion Media worked with stakeholders to develop a strategy and create a network of 24 unique websites in the endurance sports market.

The Competitor network is built in Wordpress, enabling editors to easily manage each site from a central location. Custom theme and plugins were developed to meet Competitor's needs and integrate social networkingapplications.


Intova needed an online solution that they could manage with in-house staff. Accomplishing that and more, the site is fully optimized for search engines with a compelling design that clearly differentiates Intova from their competition and visually communicates specialized underwater cameras and quality images.

Using the marketing power Flickr, we integrated photo contests, user submitted images and Intova’s featured gallery. / Bombay Sapphire

Working with and Bombay Sapphire Gin, Immersion Media created an online music channel that features musicians and music from around the world.

We built a Flash player that allows users to listen to the music they like, and integrated it with on-page advertising space.

A premium was put on creating a fresh look, and encouraging user participation.

Fitch & Associates

Fitch and Associates is a leading consulting firm in EMS and air medical services. They have an unparalleled reputation for building relationships with their customers, and providing simplified, personal service. We upgraded their web presence to reflect these strengths - using custom photography of Fitch team members to convey personal attention to visitors and potential clients. We gave the site a welcoming look that gives visitors the feel of having stepped into the firm’s environment.

We also built the site a .NET custom ecommerce event registration system, in order to capitalize on the success of the redesign.

Honda Element online event

Partnering with Surfer Magazine, Immersion Media created The Northern Passage Mountain Bike Adventure, a "made for web" sports event. We also designed, built, and managed the website during the time it was going on.

The event was successful in attracting attention, and integrating the Honda Element into the action sports demographic. Ultimately, it served as a launching pad for future online events, including The Road to Mammoth and Chasing Hurricanes.


Working with WaveLoch, Immersion Media created a website designed to duplicate the thrilling experience a wave vehicles creates. We integrated visually-compelling photography, and created a design where the images on the site change with each new visit and for each new user.

By also integrating Drupal into the site, we gave WaveLoch staff the ability to easily maintain and update their own site.

Fantasy Surfer

Working with Surfer Magazine, Immersion Media created a completely custom and complex Fantasy Surfer application. We researched characteristics of other fantasy leagues, worked to understand our client's objective, then built a website on .NET technology.

The final Fantasy Surfer product - with both speed and security - has since become a premiere franchise for Surfer Magazine.

Sonoma Tile Makers

Sonoma Tile Makers is a world renowned producer of hand crafted tiles. Working with their unique aesthetic and with their own design firm, Immersion Media created a completely custom website to display the products. The site is built on .NET technology, allowing users to blend their own tile mix, save their favorite tiles, and more. Using the custom content management system we built, Sonoma Tiles also has the ability to easily manage their website, and add new features as inventory changes.


Immersion Media created a unique marketing site that features the visuals of the Flowrider product, and helps recreate the experience a wave vehicle produces. Importantly, the site also establishes Flowrider as a reputable company, able to produce such a large and high-end product.

The site was built with a mix of HTML and Flash technology. It's attractive, and easy to manage.


Art For Kids

Despite being the leading manufacturer of premium children's furniture, Art For Kids was operating out of a small and cluttered website. They came to us looking for a more impressive online presence.

Immersion Media created a new visual marketing plan for the company, then used it to build a new Art For Kids website. Among other things, the site features a custom content management system to make maintaining their online catalog easier, and features an interactive store finder to increase online/offline conversion.
